This painting is special to us. We took Niam on a trip to South Africa. Niam loves the water. He love nature.

This is an interesting painting. I was trying to figure out what Niam might have been thinking and I went back through my pictures. One picture caught my eye.  We visited these beautiful caves. They were called Cango Caves and if you look at the picture online they are almost Shiny Brown and Gold. You walk in the dark. I was taken aback and what Niam is able to understand and take in. I cried as for many years I was mistakenly under the impression Niam was not understanding. My older son Rohan who is very close to him, would and still says " He understands everything". I don't mind eating my words in this case. This painting is not Niam's typical work making it even more special. 

Niam unlocks his world through his artwork. He has minimal speech and expresses his inner most feelings, private thoughts and expressions through his artwork.

This is Niam's interpretation  of  the ocean is astounding, all the beautiful colours  he sees sparkling through the ocean is breathtaking.  See the world through Niam's eyes.
