Technology helps children with autism in many ways. Niam uses his Samsung tablet from the minute he wakes up to the time he goes to sleep. Niam uses the tablet to make visual schedules to help organize his day, to assist him with speech, communication, education and, to faciliated the learning techniques of famous artists from YouTube and Khan Academy Videos.

The Look At Me App, made by Samsung, has helped Niam learn, identify facial gestures. By practicing the App Niam has transferred the skills he learned to photography. He  is  taking pictures with eye contact, resulting in Niam being able to join my son and I on photography expeditions. As a family we are extremely excited to have a new activity the whole family can participate.
